Templo Del Espiritu Santo UMC will begin having Wednesday Night Services starting September 7, 2016. We will start at 6:30pm with a free dinner (spaghetti) with Worship and Service starting at 7pm. Worship and Message will be in English.
A group for mothers of school-age kids. At MOPS International we believe Better Moms Make a Better World. This is true during the preschool years and beyond. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason we offer MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of school-age kids. A MOMSnext group is an open, accepting place for all mothers of school-age kids to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.
Who can join? Any mother with children ages Kindergarten– 12th grade. Childcare not provided.
When do we meet? Alternate Thursdays from 9:30 – 11:30 am starting in September

(Meets every Saturday from 3-5pm) Kids from 9-18 and their parents are invited to explore electronics, robotics, and programming in an informal environment. Mentors are on site to help guide you. All materials and equipment is provided. We have RC toys and high-tech programmable robots and everything in between. Students can even access 3D printers, laser cutters, and more. DivorceCare is a support group that meets weekly for 13 weeks.
You will find practical, encouraging information through videos featuring leading divorce recovery experts,
support group discussion about video content and the issues faced by individual group members,
journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics like, “What’s Happening to Me? Facing My Anger and Facing my Loneliness.” No need to RSVP.

Once a week on Tuesday FBC volunteers provide each family represented with two sacks of groceries. There are no requirements except a photo ID and proof of current address. Recipients must live in the six county area: Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Madison, Robertson, and Washington.
